Welcome

Welcome to the official website of the Cherokee District - a Centennial Quality District.  This site serves as an informational resource for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing Crews, their Scout Leaders, and the many other Scouting volunteers located in Western Jefferson County, Alabama, who make this district great. 

The Cherokee District serves youth in the communities including Bessemer, Brighton, Concord, Fairfield, Forestdale, Graysville, Hueytown, Maytown, McCalla, Minor, Mulga, Oak Grove, Pleasant Grove, Sylvan Springs and West Jefferson, among other area communities.
