Many New Courses – including required and supplemental leader training courses such as: Pack Committee and Administration Training, Troop Committee and Administration Training, Scoutmaster Position Specific Training, NOVA Counselor Training, Supernova Mentor Training, Venturing Leader Specific Training, CPR Certification......the list goes on and on.

Family Program – supervised program for youth aged 6-11. Additional cost of $15 per youth (includes lunch) and advance registration is required.

Smithsonian Exhibit - A free travelling Smithsonian exhibit “The Way We Worked” will be at Wallace State Community College the same day as UoS. By special arrangement, the Saturday hours that day have been extended so all UoS participants may visit the exhibit during or after University of Scouting.

Special Guest – Julie Seton, granddaughter of Ernest Thompson Seton , will be available all day to talk with interested Scouters. Ernest Thompson Seton was one of the three founders of the BSA (William Boyce and Dan Beard were the other two), and was the first Chief of the Boy Scouts of America.
